My Flickr

Originally uploaded by mloylo

I’ve had my flickr account for maybe 2 and half years now. I never really use it for couple of reasons. 1: I post most of my stuff on facebook anyway. 2: There’s a limit on amount of data per month when you have a free account and I never felt the need to pay $2/ month and upgrade to PRO. Lately, I’ve been getting serious about photography and I want to get some critiques as well as another place to back up my photos.

Part of being a Libra is that we’re indecisive. Therefore it takes me a long time to edit pictures. If I’m a n00b to photography, it’s even more so when it comes to Photoshop and Lightroom. But I’m learning. Day by day. I’m forcing myself to pick about 7, sometimes 15 pics per set to narrow down the winners. It seems to be working pretty well right now.

I’ve uploaded a good load of my SXSW pics. There are some sets where I let my friend Eleanor borrow my camera and I can’t tell which pics are taken by her or me so I haven’t uploaded those. I like to give credit where credits due so I don’t want to post anything that’s technically “hers.”

This is one of my favs this year. For as long as I’ve been to attending SXSW there’s been Meiko. Not quite sure how I feel about her new stuff. Hopefully the subject matters in her songs will be more than just about boys and girls. She doesn’t look very flattering when she’s squeezing all the air out of her voicebox…

Check the pics out! I’d appreciate it if you drop me a line.
